Back in "The-Big-Smoke" - Sydney

Already I can hear a lot of you say: ".. about time to keep us updated.." ---

O.K. I admit that I have been a bit slow on putting down some more about what's going on in this part of the world, so here it is:

Following an invitation, I decided to fly down to Sydney at the beginning of the month and leave my Motor Home parked at Karratha while I enjoy a bit of Sydney town, staying at my friends' house.

Caught at Bronte Beach
I must say, its quite a bit colder down south, glad I brought some warmer clothes along too. I have re-visited many places around town, did a few long walks along the foreshores of the Eastern Suburbs, from Watsons Bay, Vaucluse, Bondi, Tamarama and from Coogee to South Coogee, a walk I have done in the past, countless times.

The Lighthouse at the end of the Palm Beach peninsula

I also re-discovered Palm Beach with a hike up to the Lighthouse,

The view from the Lighthouse over Palm Beach and the Pittwater

Looking at Great Mackerel Beach in the distance from the Lighthouse
in the opposite direction, south, to Stanwell Park, my old hang gliding place and finally, today, a day in the Blue Mountains, with a long walk down the stairway from the "Three Sisters" to the valley below and a hike along the foot of the mountain escarpement. The lunch today at Leura was excellent as well.
