As it turns out, this is a long-weekend with lots of people traveling out of Sydney, the decision to wait a few days was good in hind sight - had I left Thursday (yesterday) I would have to contend with all the associated heavy traffic as well.
Saw Eckhard and Suki today and Eck took a shot with Suki and me standing in front of my mobile abode.
Starting to really get excited, now that its finally happening... Some higher temperatures I am particularly looking forward to.
Blue skies are also re-appearing with more than a suggestion of warmth. Sunny and somewhat warmer even in Sydney. All back to 'normal' thank you. Don't like driving in rain.

love to read your holiday reports. Now it's already more than half a year since my holidays down under. But finally I made up my mind and decided to apply for a job in Sydney! Maybe we see us again in a few months :-) I socialised with some people who hopefully can help me finding a suitable job.
